Recent Commissions

Here is a look at some of my recent commissions. The first is a family portrait for Eduardo Klein Fichtner of Brazil. The other two are original characters created by James Briggs. If you or someone you know is interested in a commissioned drawing, send me a message on The Art of Brian James Fichtner Facebook Fan Page or send me an e-mail at brianjfichtner@gmail.com.

Rapunzel Turnaround

Today I bring you even more Rapunzel. Once again, as reference, I used Glen Keanes rough model sheets from Tangled.

Rapunzel Coloring Page

Here's a look at my Rapunzel coloring page currently being colored by hundreds of kids at the Magic of Disney Animation attraction at Disney Hollywood Studios. I was very happy with how it turned out and it is very similar to the one I teach people how to draw in my Animation Academy class. It has also become a favorite among the guests over the last couple weeks. However, it will soon be removed and replaced. So if you happen to be visiting Florida's Disney parks be sure to run over and snag this free coloring page before its replaced and gone forever.

Update 7/25/12: My Rapunzel coloring sheets have officially been removed.

Update 9/4/12: My new coloring sheet has been available for several weeks now. This one shows less of my personal style and draws more from the original Glen Keane design.

Cosmic Marvels

I've been working on making my art style a bit more detailed by using different line and inking styles. I decided to try out my new style on two of my favorite cosmic based Marvel Comics characters. So here i present the mad titan Thanos and Nova. Enjoy!

Portfolio

I spent some time recently putting together my portfolio in hopes of moving on from Disney and into bigger and brighter things. So, I thought I'd show a few pages for your enjoyment.
