Black and White Madness
Lately I've been really working on my black and white inking techniques. I've been able to get away from using under pencils and just going freehand with the ink. The goal is for a series of prints for next years MegaCon in Orlando. I also plan on using the same technique for a new noire style comic I'm working on with my friend Sarah Wallace. Hoping to get the comic finished by MegaCon as well, but if that doesn't happen at least ill have prints ready for sale. Here for your viewing pleasure is Yvonne Craig as Batgirl from the 1960's Batman series and Alison Brie from Community and Mad Men.

Recent Commissions
Here is a look at some of my recent commissions. The first is a family portrait for Eduardo Klein Fichtner of Brazil. The other two are original characters created by James Briggs. If you or someone you know is interested in a commissioned drawing, send me a message on The Art of Brian James Fichtner Facebook Fan Page or send me an e-mail at brianjfichtner@gmail.com.

Rapunzel Turnaround
Today I bring you even more Rapunzel. Once again, as reference, I used Glen Keanes rough model sheets from Tangled.
